Lakewood Residence

The renovated Lakewood Residence: a blue-gray Craftsman bungalow with a deep front porch, a red door, and a front gable.

Whole-House Renovation | Built | 2021

Potts Lang Architects partnered with Matriarch Renovations on this Lakewood house, which was taken down to the studs and rebuilt for resale. The practice prepared the construction documents and consulted on the design.

The reworked main level creates a primary suite and gives every bedroom a larger closet. Above, the attic bonus room was built out into a bedroom suite with a full bath and a powder room.

The result is a five-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home, ready for its next household.
